Welcoming over 500 guests, Clarksons Platou was delighted to
celebrate the 10th anniversary of the establishment of Clarksons
Dubai last week at a reception held overlooking the iconic Burj Al
Arab in Dubai's Jumeirah Beach Hotel.
In 2005, Clarksons, the world's leading shipping services group
opened the office in order to fully service its growing and highly
valued client base in the MEINA region. Initially focussing
purely on the dry cargo market, the Dubai team has grown from a
staff of two to more than 60 employees.
Over the years we have worked in close partnership with our
clients, developing long-standing relationships and as the local
economies have diversified and clients' needs changed, Clarksons
Platou's global network and unique product breadth has meant we can
support them in new areas and shipping markets. Today, the business
concentrates on dry cargo and tanker chartering (both deep
sea and specialised products),as well as offshore for the whole of
the MEINA region,.

operations and acts as the hub for The MEINA region. Best in class
client service is at the heart of our strategy and offering clients
unique local support but with access to the Group's product breadth
