Clarksons have one of the largest and most experienced teams of S & P brokers in the world. We operate worldwide from offices in London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Piraeus, Singapore and Shanghai covering the newbuilding, secondhand and demolition markets of ocean-going tonnage in excess of 10,000dwt up to Capesize and VLCCs.
There are dedicated teams concentrating on the dry (bulkers) and wet (tankers) markets, on containers, on gas, on ro-ro vessels and on offshore. Clients include the world’s leading independent and publicly quoted shipowning companies as well as all the major shipyards both in Europe and the Far East. We have direct access to the comprehensive up-to-the-minute shipping intelligence services provided in-house by Clarkson Research Studies which in turn are made available to our clients.
The S & P division specialise in project business, especially in complex sale and leaseback transactions, and have a history of being world leaders in concluding deals of blocks of vessels as well as whole fleets. Given the need for a regulated entity, these deals have led to the establishment of Clarkson Investment Services and the handling of corporate transactions of this nature, including merger and acquisition business.
