Located in Oslo, Singapore and Houston, our rig department enables us to serve our global clients 24/7, and to pursue business opportunities wherever they emerge.

We work with all segments of the offshore rig industry - UDW semisubs and drillships, jack-ups for all regions, tender rigs, platform rigs and accommodation, work over and construction rigs.

Our highly dedicated and skilled team delivers the full service range - from market intelligence and strategic advisory, to chartering, sale and purchase and newbuilding contracting.

Kjetil Stangeland
Clarksons Platou Offshore

We serve a wide range of clients, from the largest and most experienced drilling operators in the world, to investors wanting to enter the offshore drilling industry. Working closely with our colleagues in the wider Clarksons Platou Offshore department and Clarksons Platou Securities, we are able to offer all of them top-of-the-line advisory and brokerage services no matter how complex a project.

No other broker has access to the depth of research that we can draw on, through our colleagues at Clarkson Research Services, or the ability to help finance as well as structure the most beneficial deals for our clients. We work closely with our Financial division to help clients raise funds or take advantage of complex sale and leaseback transactions.

Eric Støle Karlsen
Clarksons Platou Offshore

Part of the team focuses exclusively on chartering projects for our drilling and oil-company clients and with our unparalleled overview of the industry, we are able to match the needs of our oil company clients with the available rigs from our drilling clients.  Additionally we are actively involved in the procurement of heavy lift services for the movement of rigs and other project cargoes worldwide.

Newbuilding projects forms an integral part of our business.  We have developed excellent relationships with the major Korean, Singaporean and Chinese offshore yards as well as the equipment manufacturers, enabling us to give the best technical and commercial advice available to any client considering growing their fleet.
