Clarkson Asia Hong Kong Makes it 2 out of 2 at Race Night

On 9 December 2013 Clarkson Asia was invited back by AMA Marine Surveyors to Sideways Driving Club in Central Hong Kong as defending 2012 Champions of the previous year's AMA Racing Trophy.

Following a gruelling 20 lap race, where the lead changed several times and thanks to a lightening quick pit stop and driver change, Anthony Tai drove the Clarkson car to the chequered flag and victory for the second year.

Special thanks should go to Clarkson Asia employee Bing Tang, who found herself unexpectedly recruited to drive by one of the other corporate teams. Having previously honed her skills on the roads of metropolitan Athens, Bing was unafraid to 'nudge' a number of competitor team cars off into the gravel traps or Armco, thus aiding the Clarkson Porsche to a full nine second lead over the number two car on the final lap. We can only hope that we get invited back to defend the trophy next year...
