We cover more of the market than anyone else and the calibre of our brokers, operators and analysts is second to none, providing the deepest knowledge and experience in the sector.

Shipbrokers

Being a natural networker is a must. You’re the link between vessel owners and companies looking to charter or purchase ships so you’ll need to be skilled at quickly building rapport with people from all backgrounds. As well as being confident and personable, we look for people with excellent sales and negotiation skills, whose interest by business and market dynamics comes naturally.

Operators

You’ll need to be an expert at establishing workflows and patterns, as operators are responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful delivery of voyages that have been agreed by our broking team. We look for people who are highly responsive with excellent organisational skills and a great eye for detail so that you can keep on top of a constantly moving workload.

Analysts

Do your strengths lie in numbers and logic? If you’re highly numerate with exceptional attention to detail and a natural flair for data analysis and visualisation then a career as an analyst may suit you. You’ll be responsible for collecting, analysing and presenting vital data which is used by shipping professionals around the world. Your role will include monitoring markets, managing complex databases of market information and partnering with broking teams to inform decision-making.

Quite simply, we wouldn’t be the market-leader without the work of our exceptional Business Support teams. Spanning HR, finance, legal, marketing, events and IT, these teams play an active role in driving the business forward by bringing expertise from outside of shipping. While the roles are diverse, each with their own specific skill set, they all share a dedication to excellence, with the need to adapt and pivot and build strong working relationships across the business. You won’t need previous experience in shipping, but a willingness to learn will stand you in good stead.
