Louisiana and Domestic Gulf Coast

The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP)

The Louisiana Offshore Oil Port (LOOP) is the nation’s first and only deep-water port that can accommodate the world’s largest tankers, many of which are too large for inland ports. LOOP and its onshore facilities, Fourchon Booster Station and Clovelly Dome Storage Terminal, provide tanker crude oil offloading and temporary storage services.

North Dakota and Rockies

A Key U.S. oil producing region

North Dakota is a significant producer of crude oil in the U.S., with the Bakken Formation being the primary source of production. This region has seen a boom in oil production thanks to advances in hydraulic fracturing and horizontal drilling techniques. The Rocky Mountains are home to an abundance of different types of oils including tight shale oil, oil sands, and oil shale that require unconventional production methods and new technologies for extraction.

Canadian Gulf Coast

Fourth largest oil producer in the world

Canada is the fourth largest oil producer in the world with most of its production coming from the oil sands in the province of Alberta. In 2020, Canada produced approximately 5 million barrels of crude oil per day. The crude produced in Canada is primarily exported to the United States. We broker crude produced in Canada and moved into Cushing, OK for shippers and blenders and into the U.S. Gulf Coast for refineries and export.

Leading physical crude brokerage

The physical petroleum market revolves around the trading and movement of actual barrels of crude oil and refined products. Success in these markets requires not only deep market knowledge but also strong commercial relationships and a thorough understanding of regional supply and demand dynamics.

Our experienced team has deep relationships with producers, refiners, traders, and other market participants. Along with access to market intelligence, price discovery, and executional support, we help clients reach their commercial goals and navigate the complexities of the energy sector.

Their commitment, leadership, and service-oriented mindset have fostered a culture built on integrity, teamwork, discipline, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service to clients across the energy industry.
