Gibb Group provides vehicle to local ambulance service

Share

Gibb Group has loaned a vehicle to the East of England Ambulance Service for use by its team of First Responders operating out of the ambulance station in Gorleston, Norfolk. From this base, the team attends medical emergencies across the Waveney area 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Terry Simmons, Director of Gibb Group, presented the vehicle to the East of England Ambulance Service’s Community Response Manager Andrew Barlow. Simmons said:

“Gibb Group - and our parent company, Clarksons PLC - has always had an active CSR policy whereby we look to actively support our local communities in as many ways as we can. When we heard the First Responder Team was looking for a way to make themselves more mobile and available to the local community, we very quickly made the decision that we wanted to help them find a solution."

"We look forward to continuing to support the East of England Ambulance Service in any way we can."

Following up with Terry Simmons a few months after presenting the vehicle, he added:

“Loaning the vehicle to the service and seeing that it has already made such a big difference in such a very short space of time is hugely satisfying and rewarding for us as a business.

"We’re very proud to be able to help the community and local services in this way and very much look forward to building an ongoing relationship and continuing to support the East of England Ambulance Service in any way we can.”
