2026 Charity Giving Day takes aim for impact
Clarksons colleagues from around the world came together last week for the company’s Annual Charity Giving Day, raising an impressive £75,000 for The Clarkson Foundation.
This year's event, entitled 'Aim for Impact' saw 38 teams from 11 offices worldwide compete in a live darts tournament, combining friendly competition with a shared commitment to supporting causes that improve the quality of life for children and young people.
Embracing the spirit of the occasion, teams arrived in creative costumes and brought enthusiasm, energy and camaraderie to the event. The event culminated in a closely contested final, with London-based IT team “Ctrl Alt Bullseye” securing victory and claiming the coveted “Clarksons Champion” title.
Beyond the fundraising total, Charity Giving Day reflects the social element of our wider ESG approach, supporting organisations that are creating opportunities and improving outcomes for children, young people and their communities.
£75,000 for three fantastic causes
While teams were competing for the top spot, there was a much bigger target behind the day.
This year, Charity Giving Day fundraised to support three organisations that were identified by The Clarkson Foundation, each working to create better opportunities and outcomes for children and young people.
In Europe, colleagues supported Spread a Smile, which brings entertainment, activities and memorable experiences to seriously ill children and their families.
In Asia, fundraising supported Angkor Hospital for Children in Cambodia, which provides paediatric healthcare regardless of a family’s ability to pay, while also training healthcare professionals and strengthening community health services.
And in the Americas, colleagues fundraised for Fundação Gol de Letra, which uses education, sport, culture and employability programmes to create opportunities for children and young people.
Together, colleagues have raised an incredible £75,000, providing £25,000 to each charity.
One global effort
The Clarkson Foundation Trustee, Bob Knight commented:
“Charity Giving Day is a brilliant example of what we can achieve when colleagues get behind a shared cause. We’re incredibly proud that this year’s efforts will result in £75,000 being donated across three charities, helping them continue their important work with children and young people. A huge thank you to everyone who donated, fundraised, dressed up, competed or cheered their colleagues on. Every contribution helped make the day such a success.”
