A warm welcome to our 2026 Global Trainee Brokers

Share

We’re delighted to welcome 17 new trainees to our 2026 Global Trainee Broker Programme, who will be based across our Aberdeen & Edinburgh, Hamburg, London, New York, Oslo, Shanghai and Singapore offices.

As our flagship early careers programme, the Global Trainee Broker Programme provides trainees with the opportunity to build their understanding and experience across different broking markets, while developing the skills and knowledge to support their future careers at Clarksons.

Last week, the cohort came together at our London office for their induction, marking the start of their journey with Clarksons. The week introduced trainees to the business, the wider shipping industry and the role of a broker, while giving them the opportunity to meet one another and start building connections across the global cohort.

During the week, trainees heard from colleagues and subject matter experts from across the business, gaining valuable insights into our industry, markets, and operations. They also had the opportunity to learn from previous trainee cohorts, participate in interactive and collaborative exercises, industry visits, and valuable networking opportunities.

The induction is just the beginning. As the trainees return to their respective offices, they’ll continue to gain experience and develop their understanding of different broking markets, supported by colleagues across the business as they take the first steps in their careers at Clarksons.

We’re looking forward to following the 2026 cohort’s journey and seeing what they achieve. Welcome to Clarksons!

"We're delighted to welcome our 2026 Global Trainee Brokers to Clarksons. Investing in early careers talent is an important part of building for the future, and our trainee programme plays a key role in developing the next generation of broking talent. We look forward to seeing our trainees embark on their careers with Clarksons and wish them every success."
