Welcome to our 2024 Global Trainee Broker Programme Cohort

Share

This October, Clarksons welcomed 22 trainees onto the Global Trainee Broker Programme, based in our Dubai, Houston, London, New Delhi, Oslo, Singapore, Shanghai, & Tokyo offices. The first week of the programme brought the trainees together in our London office to undertake a comprehensive induction, equipping them with key knowledge, guidance, and the foundations to prepare and support them in their roles. The week also provides the opportunity for trainees to meet and spend time together and form valuable connections as a cohort.

The induction week is an invaluable experience, bringing the trainees to the same level of knowledge, regardless of any prior background or experience in the shipping industry. Trainees gain a solid understanding of what it means to be a Trainee Broker at Clarksons, an introduction to the various shipping markets, the importance of effective networking and in staying informed about current affairs, news and events impacting market segments.

We wish the trainees the best as they embark on the start of an exciting career with Clarksons, and are looking forward to following their journeys with the company. We can’t wait to see what the future holds for them!
